For four years, Django Django have been cooped up in drummer David Maclean’s bedroom setting the blueprint for their album set for release early next year. But for now their new single Waveforms is set for release next month.
Recently, there has been an evident trend of psychedelia within the London indie
movement. However there has been little, if any, of the same caliber as Django Django’s material.
On a song that includes unbelievably reverberated synthesizers and trippy vocals, almost capable of classification as acid house of the early 1990’s, Django Django have started to extend and branch off of the generic psychedelic sound, paving the way for an inevitable whole new movement.
