After Amy Winehouse’s devastating death in July, fans from across the universe flocked to her Camden home to show their adoration whilst support was shown on a global level. Therefore it was inevitable that a tribute single would be released for the late singer-songwriter.

Although Body & Soul was evidently recorded prior to Winehouse’s untimely death, to be placed onto legendary pop singer; Tony Bennet’s “Duets II” album. It has, nonetheless, been timed perfectly in order to monument her career. Containing a stunning harmonisation between both artists’ flawlessly complimenting voices under a dreamily satisfying instrumentation.

A fitting tribute to a great artist, a perfect end to an outstanding music career, overlooking the lavish lifestyle and tabloid repugnance, Amy Winehouse is a superb talent who will be greatly missed from the popular music scene.
