With the current rising trend of Oxford based indie bands, most notably the success of Foals, Fixers have arisen onto the scene and started to receive a great amount of attention.
Their upcoming single - Swimmhaus Johannesburg blends elements of The Beach Boys inspired, upbeat surf-pop with Jack Goldstein’s keyboards formulating an air of psychedelia, similar to MGMT especially as shown within their live performances. Accompanied by Goldstein’s soprano vocal style, all in all creating an almost euro-pop vibe.
